Billawaria kick starts blacktopping of Chinar Enclave roads

JAMMU, Nov 27: Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the blacktopping on the roads of Chinar Enclave, MMC College and adjoining areas falling under the RS Pura-Jammu South constituency.
The work of blacktopping will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 22 lakh by the PWD.
Speaking on the occasion Deputy Mayor said that it was a long pending demand of the area which has been fulfilled now. He said that after becoming the Deputy Mayor, the kind of love and cooperation he is getting from the people is providing him more energy to work for the welfare of the masses. The Deputy Mayor said that the (JMC) is leaving no stone unturned to provide better development to the city of Jammu. The Deputy Mayor assured the people for overall development of the Jammu city area and said that it was his priority to connect the RS Pura-Jammu South Assembly constituency areas with good roads. Baldev Singh Billawaria said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the Central Government has made record-breaking development whereas in the previous governments middlemen used to distribute and digest. During the interaction with the local residents, the Deputy Mayor took stock of their problems and issues. After listening to their grievances, he assured them to take up their issues with the concerned authorities and resolved them at the earliest. Reiterating his commitment to ensure overall development, Billawaria said that the special attention would be paid to blacktopping roads in Jammu city areas. He assured that apart from the development of the area, he would ensure that the benefits of various Central Government schemes meant for the socio-economic upliftment of the poor and needy reach the doorsteps of the people in these areas. The local residents expressed their gratitude to the Deputy Mayor for taking keen interest in solving their problems. Mandal president Ranjit Singh, Harbans Choudhary, Surjeet Kumar, Mulkh Raj, Dev Raj Sharma, Rinku, TC Sharma, Ajay Tiwari and officials of PWD were also present.
