JAMMU, Oct 18: Three-day long fast observed by the activists of Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) to pay tributes to the martyred students of 1966 agitation namely Gursharan Singh, Brij Mohan, Gulshan Handa and Subash Chander at Shaheedi Sathal, outside GGM Science College, concluded today.
The three-day long fast was observed by Jatinder Singh, president JJSF JU Unit, Sandeep Singh and Abhishek Singh.
The fast was ended today as Principal GGM Science College Satvinder Singh offered juice to them.
JJSF activists also performed special ‘Pooja’, during which Satvinder Singh and staff of GGM Science College paid tributes to the martyrs by offering floral tributes.
Among others present were Kuldeep Singh Chib, Chairman, Rajinder Singh Munna, State president, JJSF, Anuj Tandon, working president Sandeep Singh, Abhishek Singh, Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, PDP leader, Ajaat Jamwal, Convenor Jammu Kashmir Unity Foundation, Pushvinder Singh, senior vice president, Youth Panthers, Hari Dutt Shishu, president ETT College Association, DN Mehta (Retd) Director, HC Jalmeria, etc.
