JAMMU, Dec 3: Renowned Writer, Anila Charak received Subhdra Kumari Chauhan Award in Hindustani Academy Auditorium at Pryagraj (UP) for her extensive contributions in the field of literature.
On this occasion writers from different part of India and abroad were present and the programme was presided over by Virender Mishra while chief guest was Additional Director General of Police, Prem Prakash.
A Mushaira was also held where Anila recited her Ghazal which enthralled the audience.
Many writers from Pryagraj and other parts of India recited their poems which were appreciated by the audience.
Writers from Nepal and America were also present.
Anila shall soon be visiting Lucknow December 22 to receive Akhil Bhartiya Atal Samman for her extensive literary contributions.
The programme shall be held on December 25, on birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister.
Her new book of ghazal shall soon be released.
