MUMBAI, Oct 19: Both Central Railway (CR) and Western Railway (WR) will operate Mega Block tomorrow on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work.
According to CR sources, all Up slow line services leaving Ghatkopar from 1107 hrs to 1527 hrs will be diverted on Up fast line between Vidyavihar and Byculla.
All Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) from 1008 hrs to 1440 hrs will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts.
Dn suburban services leaving Kalyan from 1332 hrs to 1517 hrs and Up suburban services leaving Badlapur from 1349 hrs to 1522 hrs will remain suspended between Kalyan and Badlapur.
Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving CST from 1048 hrs to 1533 hrs and Up Harbour line services towards CST leaving Bandra/Andheri from 1040 hrs to 1545 hrs will remain suspended.
Dn Harbour line services for Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving CST from 1052 hrs to 1513 hrs will run via main line between CST and Kurla further will be diverted on Dn Harbour line. These trains will not halt at Chinchpokli and Currey Road stations.
As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
On WR jumbo block will be operated between Santacruz and Goregaon from 1035 hours to 1535 hours, sources added. (UNI)
