JAMMU, Dec 6: Senior BJP leader, Vinay Gupta here today released Hindi song album ‘Manmarzian’ during a function where he was chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta wished that the song may spread the message of peace and prosperity in society.
“J&K is blessed with unique talent which needs to be harnessed,” he maintained adding that he expects that the younger generation should disseminate richness of Dogra culture not only in Jammu but across the nation and abroad to make the people aware of our folklore, folk music, Dogri songs etc.
The song in the album was sung by son of the soil Satinder Shanu who made his name with the famous singing reality show Chotte Ustaad, Do Deshon Ki Ek Awaaz aired by Star Plus in the year 2010 and the programme was an international singing reality show in which young artists from India and Pakistan participated.
Song ‘Manmarzian’ is presented by Artium Academy, Bombay which is a Music Academy run by Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam.
The programme started with welcome address by Bishan Dass, president Duggar Lok Manch.
Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary JKAACL, Ashok Singh, president Indian DELPHIC COUNCIL JK and others were also present on the occasion.
