9 injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Oct 20: Nine persons were injured in road accidents at different locations of the winter capital.
As per reports, three members of a family received injuries, when the car they were traveling in collided with a road divider at Gangyal.
The injured identified as Balwan singh, his wife Sudesh Kumari and their daughter Meenakshi, all residents of Akhnoor were rushed to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, from where they were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advance treatment.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
In another incident, a 75-year-old pedestrian and two young girls received injuries when the girls riding on the scooty collided with a motorcycle at Tali Morh area, this evening.
The injured have been identified as Puran Chand (71) son of Shajju Ram of Tali Morh, Simran Bhat, daughter of Naresh Kumar Bhat of Roop Nagar and Shivangi Bhat, daughter of Sumit Bhat of Paloura.
The trio was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, three persons received injuries in a motorcycle-scooty collision at Mishriwala.
The injured have been identified as Sushma Devi, daughter of Pritam Singh Chib, Chandni, daughter of Bhagat Singh and her brother Shubham, all residents of Mishriwala.
Police has registered a case and investigation started.
