REASI, Oct 20: The 9th State level competition organized by Shri Durga Natak Mandli concluded here today.
In the competition the Ram Lila clubs across the State participated. MLA Reasi, Baldev Raj Sharma was the chief guest during the award giving function.
MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma, DDC, Reasi Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary, ADDC Rajinder Singh Tara and other officers attended the function. Besides, the function was also attended by the prominent citizens of the town.
The competition started on October 15 and it concluded today. Total 10 clubs participated in it.
Narayana Kala Kender Ramble got the first prize with Rs 51,000 in cash and trophy for Ravan-Nandigan Samwad.
Ramleela Club Kathua got second prize with Rs 21,000 cash and trophy for its role Shravan Kumar and Sunder Club Sunderbani got third prize with Rs 11,000 cash and trophy for its role Bharat Kakai Samwad.
The best actor award was given to Rajesh Sharma of Ramble for the role of Ravan. He was given a cash prize of Rs 5100 with trophy.
The consolation prizes were given to Savrang Kala Manch Reasi, Mahavir Youth Kala Kendra Gari, Ramleela Club Doda, Vaishno Kala Manch Vijaypur, Shri Mahakaleshwar Club Kalakote, Ramleela Club Dashnami Akhara, Kathua and Yuva Club Talwara.
