KATHUA, Oct 20: A couple set themselves ablaze in the Shiva Nagar area of Kalibari in Kathua district late last night.
The duo were shifted to GMC Jammu in a serious condition where the lady Sapna succumbed to her burn injuries early this morning while her husband Rishi Kapoor with 50 per cent burn injuries is battling for life.
The Kathua Police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigations. However the cause of this extreme step by them is not known. The reports said the couple was living all alone in the house.
