NEW DELHI, June 15: Ending all speculations, the ruling UPA today announced the candidature of Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee for the July 19 Presidential elections.
The announcement was made by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi after a brief meeting of UPA parties at the residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
