SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said that India will not tolerate continuous ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir along the Line of Control (LoC) and international Border.
While speaking at police commemoration function here in Srinagar, Omar said: “We want the Centre to take the issue (ceasefire violations) with Pakistan. We will not tolerate it. We have to find solutions to it. We know how to give answer but we don’t want the people to suffer.”
Chief Minister said that people are fleeing from the IB and LoC due to continuous firing by Pakistan. He said that a ministerial team is visiting the affected areas and a contingency plan is being formulated for the affected people.
