BOSE conducts programme on Adolescence Education

JAMMU, Oct 21: J&K Board of School Education conducted State Level role play competition in National Adolescence Education Programme at Government HSS (B) Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
N R Dingra, Director Academics, J&K State BOSE was the chief guest who thoroughly inspired the audience with his matured perceptions and thought provoking speech.
Mtr Taria Parveen, Principal, Government HSS (B) Gandhi Nagar, Jammu who was the guest of honour delivered insightful speech with her visionary ideas and thoughts. This role Play Competition was organized at State Level amongst various selected teams from District Level Competitions conducted at various districts of Jammu division.
All the teams presented very cheerful and talented role plays which were highly appreciated by the Judges and the audience.
Various themes viz Charms and Challenges of Adolescence, Healthy Relationships among Adolescents, HIV/AIDS-Stigmatization and Cause and impact of Drug abuse were highlighted in the role plays.
In the beginning, Dr Yasir Hamid Sirwal, Project Officer-JD welcomed the esteemed guests and participants and vehemently highlighted the importance of Adolescence Education in the present contemporary era.
Mrs Sirshta  Dogra, Deputy Director (Academics), J&K State BOSE presented the vote of thanks to the dignified guests and participants.
A cross section of people from Education Department, BOSE and students attended and participated in the programme.
