DODA, Dec 12: Five persons were injured here today when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and landed in a gorge near Thathri on Thathri Jangalwar road.
The ill-fated vehicle-a car of Alto make bearing registration number JK06-A-4537 was on its way from Thathri to Jangalwar when it met with the accident near Thathri.
Thathri Police immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Trauma Hospital Thathri and they were later on shifted to GMC Doda.
The injured were Abdul Kareem, 60, son of Lala resident of Phagsoo; Farooq Ahmed, 40, son of Jamaal Din resident of Jangalwar; Shaheena Begum, 35, wife of Farooq Ahmed; Amaan, 4, son of Farooq Ahmed and Fayaza, 6, daughter of Farooq Ahmed-all residents of Jangalwar Phagsoo.
Police has registered a case in this connection at Police Station Thathri and started investigation.
