UDHAMPUR, Oct 21: Demanding their examination centre at Udhampur instead of Jammu, a number of Para-Medical students today held a strong protest demonstration and tried to block the National Highway.
Shouting slogans in support of their demand, they took out a march from the office of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur towards Domail Chowk where they tried to block the National Highway.
However, a strong contingent of Police, led by Dy SP Gian Chand Sharma, foiled their attempt and took the protesters into custody.
