KATHUA, Dec 12: A delegation led by Hafiz Qureshi met SDM Bani, Satish Sharma in his office chambers today and all the issues concerning the people were discussed which included land compensation, electricity, water etc.
Anzar Ahmed, Mehboob Ali, Barqat Ali, Mohd Shafi, Liaqat Ali, Mubeen Ali, Mohd Qayoom and others were present in the meeting.
They informed SDM Satish Sharma that for the last two months, the local people of Ward Number 4 of the Panchayat are deprived of clean drinking water.
They said the people are very worried about the poor electricity condition in Panchayat Koti Chandhiar of tehsil Bani of the district and the local people are not getting clean water for drinking in the Panchayat Number Four, Thalun for the last two months.
Hafiz Qureshi said that when the administration’s dream of providing electricity to every house will come true,? The people of the Panchayat are far away from the scheme of “Har Ghar Mein Nal se Jal” for clean drinking water in Char,. Power cuts are adding to worries of people most, he added
SDM Bani, assured the delegation that all the problems will be resolved soon and also directed the Naib Tehsildar of the area for land compensation.
