MiG 21 fighter jet makes emergency landing

Srinagar, Oct 21: A MiG-21 fighter-jet of Indian Air Force (IAF) that was on a practice flight today escaped miraculously after it developed a mid air technical snag.
Official sources said that the warplane left the technical airport at around 3 PM and had to make emergency landing after the pilot detected a technical snag.
Terming the landing safe, sources said that there was no loss of life in the incident.
Pertinently, in December 2002, a MiG-21 fighter aircraft of IAF had crashed into a house near the local air base here, killing a man and injuring his son.
