School receives threat letter

JAMMU, Oct 21: Few days after a Government school received a threatening letter at Nagrota Gujjaran in Kathua district, a private higher secondary school-Modern Education Institute at Ghagwal in Samba district also received a similar letter this morning.
Reports said the school management informed police immediately after receiving the letter, which had threatened the students and staff to vacate the school or face the terror attack.
The letter was written in Hindi and Urdu.
The school management immediately closed the school. Police parties, which reached the spot, conducted searches in the school premises and seized the letter.
Police suspected the letter as a mischief.
