I have gone through the details regarding Udhampur-Katra Railway line that appeared in Daily Excelsior Dt. 19 Oct. The scribe has not only brought out the facts about unprecendented delay being caused by the Railway authority for the commissioning of the Udhampur-Katra Railway Project but has also thrown before the people the real point of discussion so that they could well understand the intentions and hidden agenda of the Railways Department to link Katra Town with rest of the country even after expiry of the targeted dates. The elected representatives including Member Parliament must have taken strong exception to such sabotage, delaying tactics and conspiracy in hanging the project in balance for years together and befool the public with false statements by the senior functionaries of the Railways Department.
From the angle of judgment and assurances on number of occasions the ultimate results on the ground level can be measured as just average which would definitely give birth to speculations, doubts, intentions and put a big question mark for this State of affair which is not fair and acceptable to any person who is connected with the facilities which seem impossible even remotely.
