JAMMU, Dec 14: District Police Samba in its drive against the sale of illicit liquor under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, has arrested a lady and recovered illicit desi liquor in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramgarh.
Acting on a reliable information about illegal sale of Desi illicit liquor at village Radwan, a police party of PS Ramgarh headed by SHO, Inspector, Asha Nand under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Ms.Priyanka Kumari rushed to the spot and caught a lady red handed with illicit Desi liquor at her home.
On the disclosure of accused lady, about 10 liters of Desi illicit liquor stored in plastic bottles were recovered from her residence which were meant for selling to the general public in the area. In this connection, a case FIR No. 109/2022 U/S 48 A Excise Act stands registered at PS Ramgarh and further investigation started.
