Only Indianism

Sir,
With a feeling of pride and pleasure, I thank Justice Muzaffer Hussain Attar of J&K High Court, Jammu for his Judgment DE 12/10/ 2013 highlighting “Indianism”. The working of human mind is the same. Faith and worship of Ishwar, Allah transcends all worldly and geographical barriers and connects Eternity. I had also mentioned earlier “It would be proper to address Indian Nationals as Bharat Vasis and treat them as equals”. Resonance is maximum depending on frequency of tuning and capacity of resounding body. What is in a name; call rose by any other name, it will have smell of a rose. It doesn’t matter who and how the names Hindu and Indian came into practice while addressing Bhartis. We were also born as human ‘Manav’  ‘Insan’. Parents gave us a name for the convenience of differentiation and respectfully we owned it. I am here referring comments made by Mr. P.K.J Dhar D.E 18/10/2013. It is true that the names Hindu a possible modification of inhabitants across Sindhu, or Ahle Hanud meaning in Persian as residents of Hind and its another version “Ind” in English giving birth to the name India were adopted by westerners who came here by crossing the river ‘Sindhu’.
Vir Damodhar Savarkar in his famous book “Hindutva” has also defined our nationality; “Sindh Sindhu Parianta Yase Bharat Bhumika, Pitr Bhu Punya Bhu Chaiv, Sa Vie Bhariti Smrita” meaning the land bounded by river Sindh in the North and Indian Ocean in the south, by whom so-ever is owned as the ancestral and the Holy Land, he can call himself a Bhariti. The words Hindu or India cannot find a mention in Vedas or Puranas as they are pre-historic. Bhagwat Geeta and Maha Bharat of Dwapar Yuga and later creation like Shakuntalum of Kalidasa do mention the name of Araya Vrarat as Bharat. Great poets like Ravindranath Tagore, Nazar-Ul-Isslam and Sir Mohd. Iqbal have also revered the motherland as Bharat and Hindustan.
Yours etc…..
