JAMMU, Oct 23: J&K Batwal Welfare Association in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of Sat Pal Lakhotra ex MLA constituted the Celebration Committee for the celebration of the 117th birth day of Sri Guru Gyagi Ji Maharaj falling on February 14 next year.
As per a release, the meeting was also addressed by general secretary of the Association R L Kaith. The Committee which will look into arrangements for birth anniversary of Guru Ji Maharaj will have Capt (retd0 Kamal Chand Mota, Capt (retd) Raja Ram Kaith, Capt (retd), Om Parkash Dhagga, Dr Ramesh Kaith, Sub Maj (retd) Gunni Ram Kaith, Sub (retd) Baldev Sandhu, Naib Sarpanch, Ram Lal, Subash Chander Kaith, Rashpal Chand Basae, Rattan Lal Motan, Dev Rahh Dhagga, Warrayam Chand Motan, Mela Ram Dhagga, Chaman Lal Kaith, Piara Lal Lakhotra, Dilay Ram Kaith and Nand Lal Lakhota as members..
The Association will also honour the prominent members of Batwal community who have done a remarkable work in the society.
