JAMMU, Oct 22: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today announced Arhad Malik as party candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat.
Arshad Malik was announced as party candidate during a meeting held under the chairmanship of PDP Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, in which senior leaders of the party took part.
Before joining PDP three months back, Arshad Malik remained in National Conference for more than four decades. He remained block president of NC for almost two decades and was later elected as vice president of erstwhile Doda district.
The meeting was attended by Rangil Singh, Yash Pal Sharma, MLC, Trilok Singh Bajwa, Sayeed Asgar Ali, MLC, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Daman Bhasin, Fallail Singh, Hussain Ali Wafa, etc.
