RAMBAN, Dec 16: Police here today recovered a minor girl who was kidnapped.
On November 3, 2022 a complaint was registered at Police Post Ind by one Naseer Ahmed son of Hakim Din resident of Deedha, Tehsil Gool, Ramban that his 17 yrs old sister was kidnapped by Nisar Ahmed son of Ghami resident of Budhan, Reasi and others.
On this an FIR with No. 91/2022 was registered at Police Station Gool U/S 363/109/34 IPC and investigation was entrusted to PSI IC PP Ind,
A special police party was deputed for search of the minor girl and accused persons and the minor girl was recovered by cops yesterday and was produced before JMIC Court at Gool and her statement was recorded U/S 164 CrPC.
After completing all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her legal heirs.
The girl was traced by a team headed by PSI Khem Raj, Incharge Police Post Ind, under supervision of Nazir Ahmed, SHO Gool, DySP Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool, with the overall supervision of SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
