JK Montessorie organizes interschool sports fest

JAMMU, Dec 19: An inter-school sports fest was organized by JK Montessorie School here today with an aim of creating awareness about the importance of sports, fitness and health among the students for their overall development.
Students from a large number of schools participated in the sports fest.
The games in which they showcased their talent were ‘Solve the Puzzle’, ‘Tower making’, ‘Sorting the Ball’, ‘Lemon Race’ and ‘Bean Bag Race’.
The sports fest was presided over by Rajni Gupta, Director of the School. She was accompanied by Apurav Gupta, operations head. After lighting the lamp, the welcome speech was given by School Principal, Aarti Gupta followed by a welcome song by the students of the School .
The results were declared after a nail biting competition among the participants. All the winners were awarded with medals by the Director and Principal of the School. Participation certificates were also given to all the participants
A cultural programme was also staged by the students. In the end, the vote of thanks was given by the coordinator of the School Sonia Kapoor.
In bean bag race: Kanak-Flower kids-I, Bhagya-Smart Kids -II and Sanvi -JKMS -III, while in frog race, Sharyansh-JKMS-I, Devansh-Shemrock-II, Darsh-Shemrock-III, in lemon and spoon race, Dhruv-Smart kids-I, Ekseerat-Kids Heaven-II, and Aaradhya-Apple Kids-III, in tower making, Nitika-Shemrock-I, Samanyu, Shemrock-II & Navya-Kids Heaven-III, in sorting the ball, Ahil ( Flower kids-I), Aasvi (JKMS-II) and Maanvi (Smart Kids-III) and in solve the puzzle: Aman (Kids Heaven-I), Ellina (JKMS-II) and Ritvik (Smart Kids-III).
The program concluded with the national anthem.
