POONCH, Oct 23: Police seized 17 bovine animals and arrested two persons near Behram Galla on Mughal Road in Surankote area this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that a naka party of police intercepted 17 bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir valley via Mughal Road and arrested two persons in this connection. Three persons managed to escape. Those arrested were identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Ahmed Din and Mohd Iqbal, son of Abdul Ghani, resident of Bonikhet in Surankote. A case was registered in this connection.
