SRINAGAR, Dec 21: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference today nominated senior office bearers for JKNC, Kashmir Province.
Following the election of Nasir Aslam Wani as Provincial president, Kashmir, the Party president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday nominated senior party leaders as office bearers for the party’s Kashmir Province.
Mohd Syed Akhoon has been appointed as senior vice president; Nazir Ahmed Khan Gurezi, Syed Tauqeer Ahmed, Ahsan Pardesi and Malik Asif Noor as vice presidents; Showkat Ahmed Mir as Provincial secretary, Ghulam Nabi Bhat- joint secretary (office affairs), Mohd Yaqoob Wani as joint secretary (coordination) while Ghulam Nabi Wani (Telbali) as Convenor ( Trade Unions).
Nasir Aslam Wani has passed on good wishes to the newly appointed office bearers on assuming new responsibilities, hoping that the party will benefit greatly from their experience in public life and social work.
