UDHAMPUR, Dec 22: Udhampur Police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 84 grams of heroin like substance from their possession.
The accused were identified as Aijaz Ahmad Khan, son of Mohd Maqbool, resident of Masjid Khul Paisan Anantnag and Mohd Ashraf Kuchay, son of Gh Mohd Kuchay, resident of Masjid Shareef Ranipora Anantnag.
They were apprehended by a Police party of Police Station Udhampur, headed by SHO Insp Raghubir Singh and assisted by PSI Sahil Singh Chib during a special naka at Jakheni.
A case FIR number 563/2022, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at PS Udhampur.
