JAMMU, Dec 22: Corporator of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Ward Number 50, Neena Gupta today kick started the work of laying down of water pipes in Sector 4, Channi Himmat.
The work being executed by Jal Shakti Department will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 4 lakh. With completion of work, a long pending demand of the residents of this sector will be fulfilled, thus solving the water shortage problem of the locality.
A large number of people were present on the occasion. Prominent among them were Krishan Gupta, Durga Dutt, Aditya Mahajan, Nishant Gupta, Pawan Kumar, Poonam Gupta, Kamlesh Mangotra, Trishula Gupta and Ajay Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Neena Gupta assured the people that all pending works regarding lanes, drains, street lights and blacktopping of roads will be completed shortly.
