JAMMU, Dec 22: The Government today announced winter vacation schedule for schools in Jammu and colleges across J&K UT.
While schools in Summer Zone areas of Jammu division will observe winter vacation from December 26 to January 4, 2023, Colleges in Jammu Division (Summer Zone) will have winter vacations from January 1 to January 10.
However, all Government Degree Colleges of Kashmir Division and Winter Zone of Jammu Division will observe winter vacations from December 27 to February 14, 2023.
Separate orders in this regard were issued today by the Department of Higher Education and Directorate of School Education Jammu.
While announcing vacations from December 26 to January 4 for all the Government as well as recognized private schools across Summer Zone of Jammu Division, the order by Directorate of School Education Jammu also makes it clear that teachers shall remain available on demand for any online guidance to the students during the vacation period.
