RKS School organises debate on health

Jammu, Dec 23: RKS Girls Higher Secondary School Bishnah organized a symposium on Environmental Pollution, its causes, effects and remedies. Eighteen students from Secondary and Higher Secondary level spoke and highlighted the role of healthy environment for the healthy life of all living beings on earth. The participants laid stress on the individual effons to be made at all the levels. It was deliberated that proper awareness and orientation of human minds towards the dynamism of Global Enviromnental Ethics is needed. The present level of material growth without considering the environmental hazards is likely to be disastrous as such a plain thinking of associating a price tag with the bounties of nature and the priceless gifts are required to be valued. Sarpreet Kour from the Higher Secondary bagged the 1st prize and the 2nd and 3rd prize were won by Palvi and Simran Verma respectively. Nandini Khajuria, Suhani and Avantika got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize from Secondary Wing. Two consolation prizes were also given. The students also spoke on the importance of discipline in the student life. J.P Sharma of RKS Educational Trust advised the students to work hard for achieving their goals. He opined that the destiny of a country is folded within its youth as the flower is folded in the sepals of its bud. Vasu Dubey, Avtar and Nitish Sharma acted as Judges on the occasion.
