Pura on November 1, after covering 70 cities and towns, which have significant population of refugees from Pakistan, PoK and other areas. The yatra is meant to highlight the plight of the refugees who have been constantly facing the discrimination through the hands of the Valley centric State Government.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the party workers said that this Government is moved and motivated only to please and pander to the desires and wishes of those segments of the society who have not reconciled to the accession of the State with India. It has shown great concern for such elements who crossed LoC in opposing integration of the State with rest of the country and with great diligence has put in a very lucrative rehabilitation package in place for them.
Chander Prakash Ganga, said that Congress, NC and PDP have been making promises liberally to the refugees but have actually done nothing for them. These political parties have always shown soft corner for elements who are inimical to the nationalist cause but pay only lip service to the refugees, he added.
