UDHAMPUR, Oct 24: One person was arrested for illegal storage of crackers, here today.
Reports said that a Police party from Police Station Udhampur, led by SHO Deepak Jasrotia, carried out checking of a vehicle bearing registration number JK14B-6286 and recovered illegally stored crackers worth Rs one lakh. Police arrested the accused Yashpal of Sailan Talab Udhampur and registered a case against him.
The vehicle used for illegal storage of crackers was also seized.
