JAMMU, Dec 26: Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj today initiated action against Ved Bhushan, then Junior Engineer (JE), RDD Block Kulwanta (Udhampur) by appointing an inquiry officer to enquire into the charges leveled against him.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Additional District Commissioner Udhampur as Inquiry Officer to conduct an enquiry beyond charge sheet stage into the charges contained in the article of charges against Ved Bushan son of Gian Chand, resident of Daranga, tehsil Bhaderwah, district Doda, then Junior Engineer, RDD Block Kulwanta, tehsil Ramnagar, district Udhampur,” said an order issued today by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
The order further stated that Assistant Commissioner Development Udhampur shall be the Presenting Officer who shall present the record related to the case before the Inquiry Officer on behalf of the department. The order also mentioned that the Inquiry Officer shall conclude the inquiry and submit the report along with specific recommendations within a period of 21 days.
