JAMMU, Dec 26: Union Territory Government today constituted an Irrigation Scheduling Committee for devising irrigation scheduling calendar for facilitating farmers at relevant times in the sowing season as per the needs of different cropping patterns for Rabi and Kharif crops in J&K.
Headed by Secretary Agriculture Production Department, the committee comprises Director General, Command Area Development; Director Agriculture, Jammu/Kashmir; Chief Engineer, Irrigation & Flood Control Jammu/Kashmir; Director Rural Development Jammu/Kashmir; Director CAD, Kashmir; Director Horticulture, Jammu/ Kashmir are Members of the Committee.
