UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: Rehmbal police today rescued 14 bovine animals and arrested a smuggler.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Rehmbal laid a naka at Tikri and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02W-5171.
During checking, police rescued 14 bovine animals and arrested a smuggler, who has been identified as Mohammad Nazam, son of Kala Khan of Kansa Reasi, he added.
A case under FIR number 175/13 and under Section 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Rehmbal and investigation started.
