BJP leader tours Rajouri distt, listens issues of people

JAMMU, Dec 28: BJP leader Wasim Kohli conducted a tour of Manjidara, Sunderbani,Panjnada, Kalakote, Godar, Thandikassi and Badhoon areas of Rajouri district, where he met with people of different communities and listened to their issues.
During his tour, Kohli was accompanied by other party workers. Addressing public meeting in Rajouri, he educated the public of various Central Government schemes meant for weaker sections and emphasized them to reap benefits of these schemes. Many issues were highlighted by the folks and Kohli pledged to bring them up with the appropriate authorities.
After concluding his tour, Kohli in a statement issued today said that he is dedicated to working for public welfare and that outreach initiatives are essential for learning about public needs. He added that BJP operates under the tenet of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” and that is exactly what he is focusing on doing in terms of helping those in need.
He counted various projects approved by BJP led Central Government for easing people’s sufferings. “Jammu-Poonch National Highway Tunnel, electricity and road connectivity for remote areas, construction of homes under the PMJAY scheme, Mughal Road Tunnel, vehicles for Gujjars, Bakerwals for migration, augmentation of reservation quota, etc were the dream projects of BJP to ameliorate the sufferings of people and work is underway on all these projects,” Kohli said.
