JAMMU, Dec 28: J&K School Education Officers (Retired & In-service) Association has demanded regularisation of Incharge Headmasters, Incharge Zonal Education Officers and Incharge Principals.
In a press conference here today former EJAC president, Abdul Qayoom Wani expressed concern over the delaying tactics adopted by the School Education Department repeatedly asking for already submitted documents with authentic proofs and receipt.
He said that all this has made the process time consuming and has badly affected financial position of officials besides putting them in mental trauma.
Wani claimed that there are more than 8000 Incharge Gazetted Officers out of which more than 4000 have attained superannuation and 900 have expired without confirmation/ regularisation whereas hundreds are going to retire in near future in their own pay scale and grade.
The Association has appealed to the Principal Secretary School Education Department to fix the date of DPC for regularisation of Incharge Gazetted cadre as their dues are pending since long and threatened protest otherwise.
