JAMMU, Dec 28: Taranjit Singh Tony, Chairman Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir for Administrative Engagement and Minority Affairs, and DDC Member Suchetgarh has pooh-poohed the BJP and its leaders especially the Prime Minister for vociferously raising the slogan ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ at every platform and practically delivering a big zero on ground.
The senior AAP leader stated this in his address to the gatherings after kick starting the works of blacktopping of two roads namely ‘Chak Mulo to Shamshan Ghat’ and ‘Sher-E-Chak to Treva Eik’ roads in the presence of Sarpanch Sarfo Devi and Sarpanch Tilak Raj respectively.
Tony lamented that the blacktopping of roads in this area has been initiated for the first time since 1947 and this exposes the highly pitched ‘Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas’ clamour of the BJP. He said that this also proves beyond doubt that BJP and its Govt is a Jumla party and Govt as it gives only hollow slogans like ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’, etc but not following the same in letter and spirit.
Tony said that AAP unlike BJP does not work or survive on mere slogans but we have brought the real development to this border town as much as possible within our jurisdiction and limited power.
He said that BJP has practically failed on all fronts and will receive a crushing defeat at the hands of AAP in the impending elections for J&K Assembly when the people will use their power of ballot after meticulous analysis of the performance of all the parties contesting the polls.
Prominent persons including Shashi Bhagat, Mandeep Choudhary, Sham Lal Bhagat, Jang Bahadur, Panch Gulshan Kumar and many others were present during the event.
