Charak visits injured border villagers

JAMMU, Oct 25: Senior Congress leader, former Minister G S Charak and Member CWC-AICC today visited the injured persons namely Swaran Lal and Nishant residents of border village Pindi Charkan admitted in Sub District Hospital, Bishnah who got injured in the morning due to heavy shelling from across the border.
Mr Charak, moved by the plight of the injured immediately rushed to their native village in particular and other adjoining villages which included Pindi Charkan, Pindi Camp, Kathar to take stock of the situation and also heard the people of these border villages who were scared and living under constant fear of loss of life and property.
After interacting with the villagers he took up the cause of the security of the lives of the innocent civilians and their children with the District Administration which in turn on the insistence of Mr Charak assured him that the people will be moved to safer places as soon as possible by today itself and same was conveyed to the villagers by Mr Charak there and then thus giving a sigh of relief to the innocent villagers.
He appealed the State Government to immediately make necessary arrangements in place such as proper food and shelter needed for lodging the villagers at safer places.
