REASI, Dec 29: A tragic road accident on Chassana-Sungli Kote road claimed lives of two cousin brothers when the car, they were travelling in, rolled down in deep gorge, early this morning.
The deceased were identified as Manjeet Singh (Rahil), age around 34 years, son of Navratan Singh and Gurbaksh Singh (Rinku), age around 27 years, son of Isher Singh, both resident of Malikote, tehsil Chassana district Reasi.
They were on way from Malikote towards Mahore when they met with the accident and reportedly died on the spot.
The accident took place at 6.30 am when the car skidded off the road and plunged into deep gorge near Shafi Morh at Hamosan on Chassana- Sangli Kote road in Reasi district.
Chassana Police shifted the dead bodies to Hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities. Later, the bodies were handed over to the family members for last rites.
