JAMMU, Dec 31: The dead body of a man was found today in a seasonal ‘nallah’ near Ban Toll Plaza in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to police sources, the deceased was identified as Parveen Kumar (41) son of late Ramesh Chander, resident of Sampuranpur (Jammu Cantt). The body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while Nagrota police had taken cognizance of the matter.
“Prime facie, it appears that the deceased has committed suicide by jumping off the bridge over the nallah,” sources said.
