KISHTWAR, Jan 1: Police here today recovered 170 litre illegal diesel and arrested three persons in this connection.
Police Station Kishtwar received information regarding selling and stocking of illegal diesel at Bus Stand area of Kishtwar and a special teams led by Inspector Zaheer Iqbal under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs Kishtwar, Ashish Gupta rounded up the areas and it was found that two mixer trucks of Patel Company were illegally selling the diesel to a shopkeeper.
In the raid 170 litre illegal diesel kept in barrels was recovered and the mixer trucks of Patel Company were seized and three arrests were made.
The arrested persons were Sameer Kumar, driver of truck resident of Bidda Padyarna, Lohar Singh, driver resident of Nagseni and Tanzim Ul Rehman, shopkeeper, resident of Bagwan Mohalla, Kishtwar.
In this regard a case in FIR number 01/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation taken up.
