SSCSAVD’s self-defence training shivir concludes

Udhampur, Jan 2: The eight-day-long sanskar building and self-defence training shivir of Smt. Sukriti Chowdhary Sanchalika Arya Veerangana Dal (SSCSAVD), Jammu and Kashmir, concluded at Vedic Vanprastha Ashram Garhi, here on Sunday.
As per a press statement issued by the organisation, over 100 girls who participated in the training shivir that began on December 25, were sensitized about patriotism, devotion to God, bravery, courage, self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance and service.
The participant girls also performed yagya, yoga and meditation. Besides, they were trained in the art of lathi-wielding, gun-wielding, sword-wielding, stupa making, tile breaking, judo karate and other martial arts.
The press statement said that the event was held under the overall guidance of executive committee members of Arya Veerangana Dal including Arpana Sethi (Mantrani), Monika (Up-Mantrani), Seema Gupta (Koshadhyaksh), Dr Pratibha (Mukhya Sanrakshak), Dr Aruna Bhagotra (Sanrakshak), Ritu Shastri (Prachar Mantrani), and Sunita Gupta (Mantrani).
It said that Acharya Ashish Ji Darshanacharya Jhind from Haryana provided the spiritual knowledge to Arya Veeranganas while as Acharya Satyam Ji and Abhilasha Ji from Delhi imparted culture and self-protection training to the young girls.
The shivir was conducted under the leadership of Arun Chowdhary, President Arya Pratinidhi Sabha. The shivir concluded with prize distribution function followed by Rishi Langar.
