Housing Colony residents’ delegation meets MD

KATHUA, Jan 2: A deputation of residents of the Housing Colony, Kathua met with Managing Director J&K Housing Board Dr Shabir Hussain Keen to highlight their grievances at earliest. The delegation was led by Residents Welfare Committee, president, Dr Shashi Pal Singh.
The ten member delegation also submitted a memorandum of demands to him.
Dr. Shashi Pal Singh apprised the MD regarding the difficulties being faced by the residents of Housing Colony Kathua. He appealed for black topping of internal roads of the colony, water and electricity infrastructure in left out areas of colony, development of parks, installation of sign boards, construction of commercial complex, repair of street lights, lane and drains, sewerage system on modern line, covering of exiting sewage drain for safety against accidents,  provision of police post and fencing of colony.
Managing Director Dr. Shabir Hussain Keen assured early redressal of the problems.
