Geelani re-elected as Hurriyat chairman

Srinagar, Oct 26: Hardline separatist leader, Syed Ali Geelani was re-elected as the Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) for next three years.
Geelani was re-elected as the chairman for next three years during an executive council meeting of Hurriyat Conference (G), held at Hyderpora today.
The members and representatives from Muslim Conference, People’s League, Mass Movement, Muslim League, Jammu Kashmir Employees Movement, Democratic Political Movement, People’s Freedom League and other Hurriyat leaders and representatives participated in the meeting and re-elected Geelani unanimously as chairman of HC for next three years.
Muslim Khawateen Markaz and Social Peace Forum members who were not present in the meeting gave consent for Geelani re-election to the meeting over telephone.
