Jammu, Oct 26: It turned out to be a historical moment for the alumni of Model Academy batch of 1983 that joined in chorus with each other to express their buoyed up feelings while seeing each other after a long 30 years.
None failed to recognize each other and passed pleasant preliminaries while recalling their 30 years old association in school when they were in their childhood and had many dreams and goals to achieve.
The 40 odd students, now mature men and women, met under one roof in Jammu Club , the aura lit with shimmering warmth and love towards each other as everybody seemed eager to recall the past memories , most of them funny in their adolescence and some only serious.
Now fathers and mothers to grown up children, the group talked and shared their experiences of the life and various other experiences after having left the school in 1983 to take up worldly challenges.
Doctors, engineers, businessmen, journalists, police officials etc as all have grown up to be, talked about their journey from childhood to mature and responsible citizens of the State.
Some sang sweet melodies while others chased each other, rendering the atmosphere returning to old good days of childhood mischief which used to be their primary agenda in the school days over the studies.
Though the first ever meet was a hurriedly arranged for quick acquaintance, the group now intends to make it a regular feature by adding into it some more attributes after electing a executive body which would be looking after the conduct and other activities.
