Dharmarth Trust will ensure state-of-art facilities to devotees: Secy

JAMMU, Jan 3: Secretary J&K Dharmarth Trust Ashok Kumar Sharma (Retired SSP) said that devotees visiting the temples and shrines of the Trust shall be provided adequate facilities besides full information regarding the history and significance of the same by the priests.
Sharma was interacting with priest and staff of the Trust during his visit to Shri Raghunath Temple situated at Suchetgarh and thereafter Ramji Temple in Ramgarh area. Secretary Dharmarth Trust took stock of the available infrastructure and facilities besides holding discussions on improving the facilities to make these pilgrim places more comfortable and splendid for the visiting devotees.
He asked the priests to ensure that every devotee who enters these religious places returns with complete knowledge of the history, significance and other details about these temples and shrines as it is vital for disseminating information among the masses about the rich cultural heritage of J&K. “Dharmarth Trust is doing yeoman’s service by conserving the heritage temples and shrines of the region for more than 100 years and is committed to continue with the good work in times to come,” he added.
The Trust’s Secretary said that the people should ensure that their children have the knowledge about the religion and the culture because it is very important for grooming their personalities and maintaining connection with the rich cultural legacy of the region. He said that people these days have a wrong notion of leaving the culture and traditions for the sake of becoming modern but this is proving disastrous as children have started becoming emotionless showing no respect to the elders and near and dear ones.
