Theft case solved, stolen items recovered

JAMMU, Jan 3: Bishnah Police today claimed to have solved a theft case by arresting two thieves and recovering stolen items on their disclosure.
Acting on a complaint by Headmaster of Government Girls High School Nougran that some unknown thieves had stolen cylinder, stove and some other vessels from the School, a case FIR Number 06/2023 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah.
During investigation, a team of Police Station Bishnah led by Inspector Vikram Sharma (SHO), round up two suspects with the help of CCTV footages of the area. During sustained questioning, the accused confessed their involvement in the theft and on their disclosure stolen items viz. 1 cylinder, 1 Gas stove, one Roller and 5 plates stolen from ring road, and 5 stolen water motor pumps were recovered from them.
The suspects were later identified as Vinay Thapa son of Shudagar Mal, resident of Jinder Khurd and Laba Ram son of Mansa Ram, resident of Kotli Charkan (Bishnah). Further investigation of the case was going on.
