JAMMU, Oct 27: Trikuta Nagar Police today foiled an attempt of land grabbing near Malik Market, Narwal Jammu and arrested three alleged encroachers.
The accused have been identified as Rashid Choudhary of Gujjar Colony By Pass Jammu, Vikramjeet Singh of Chako Ladi Gurdaspur and Faizullah of Malik Market Jammu.
The trio was allegedly trying to encroach upon JDA land behind Shopping Mall near Malik Market when a police party, led by SHO Trikuta Nagar Chanchal Singh swung into action and arrested them.
A case FIR number 227/2013 under section 447A for trespassing Government land has been registered against the accused at Trikuta Nagar Police Station.
