SAMBA, Oct 27: A newly married woman committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan at her residence in village Mawa of Samba district.
She has been identified as 25 year old Simran Devi wife of Pawan Kumar. Simran was married four months back and yet the Henna of her hands had not dried that the woman ended her life in mysterious circumstances. However the cause of her extreme step was not known.
The Samba Police has registered a case under Section 174 and taken the body in its custody and kept it in the mortuary of district Hospital Samba. The body will be handed over to family members after postmortem tomorrow.
