JAMMU, Jan 8: State Coordination Committee chairman of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former cabinet minister Harsh Dev Singh today castigated Jammu and Kashmir Government for failing on security front calling for an urgent need of intervention of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), saying that there is no positive outcome post Dhangri massacre.
He also called for holding judicial probe into Rajouri carnage and accused Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) of creating communal divide on the eve of elections. In a press statement, Harsh Dev said that Dhangri village of Rajouri has witnessed a worst ever massacre of minorities and seven people have so far lost their lives in the gruesome massacre.
“We call for an immediate order of holding judicial probe into Rajouri carnage and responsibilities should be fixed for this security lapse,” said Singh. He also said that J&K Government headed by LG administration has completely failed to deal with the security situation and the administration is only confined to fake slogans.
Harsh Dev said that Ministry of Home Affairs should immediately intervene in the overall situation and concrete steps on security ground should be taken so that security of civil population can be ensured. He also expressed concern over post Dhangri massacre situation and said that there is no major positive outcome in the matter which is a cause of concern.
Singh also called for immediate Assembly elections in J&K and said that only a democratically elected Government can come concrete on security front and bureaucratic setup of LG Administration has failed. He also appealed people from all sections of society to remain united in this tough time and give a solid reply to the forces which are trying to create a situation of unrest in the society.
